Artist's Comments

I prolly won't be posting the pages of my comic up here, but I thought I'd post up an edited (as in no dialogue or words of any importance) version of page 1.

Hooray for architecture. hurr hurr hurr

The backgrounds are supposed to be complimentary to my character designs, so the inking style is pretty similar (though maybe a bit rougher around the edges). When I actually have a few characters in a panel, the backgrounds will get a little more...ah...'impressionistic'? (read: sloppy)

I'm nearly done with the first scene now, so I'm pretty excited. C:<

that lamp is awesome, as is the rest of the page. what are the plans for the space above Paolo? it seems like the negative space detracts from the image a bit.

Oh, I just cut a panel out because it showed the interior of the building, and I want to keep that under wraps for now. The panel that takes up that blank space has a light/dark balance opposite to the one above it.

That's a very beautiful environment. Are you going to put your comic online anywhere or are you trying to get it published?

Duuude.
You would totally win a whole bunch of the annual awards if you put this into a webcomic format...

I like how you portrayed the light in that heavy inking style.
