Oh reeaaaly?

Just a quick color study before I turn in for the night. I kinda like how Emile's expression turned out, but then, anything smarmy/sarcastic works for him.

One tricky thing about his character is that he's never quite supposed to look the part of a real inspector. He still behaves more like a thief than a member of the law department. He's...sort of sneaky. I'm going to post some more animated sketches up tomorrow, but I'm trying to give him that stealthy, suave quality to his expressions and movements. I'm trying to build up a nice contrast to Paolo, who tends to slink around (or stalk, if he's in a pissy mood) everywhere he goes.
