UH OH. TROUBLE.

This is going to be integrated into one of the first few pages of my comic. I thought I'd post it here for fun.

Yes, Emile is short. But then, Paolo's pretty tall. 5'0 (or rather, 5 foot and one-quarter inch) vs. 6'4. Since Emile is such a tiny guy and has scruffy, shaggy hair, he's often mistaken for a little girl. Naturally, it's upsetting to him that Paolo can't properly pronounce his name, and ends up calling him 'Emmy', or some other equally undignified variation. In return, Emile has nicknamed Paolo 'idiot', or alternately 'you flammable imbecile'.

Yup, Emile was born like that. Save for one or two little ones, he's had all of those scars from the get-go.
