Sketches for 9/17/08

Just trying to get the hang of using my tablet again after an extended hiatus. Have a cartoony Emile, a scribble of appalling quality, and a cute drawing of Gwen on the house.

I kind of like the idea of Gwen switching up her hair/outfit from comic to comic. She seems like the type who would wear all sorts of bizarre things just for kicks. I think cutting her wings off at the shoulders looks best if I'm going to take this route, but if it looks too terribly silly, let me know. I think my love of mummies and all things realted to south american archaeology becomes more and more apparent in her design, but I'm really nerdy and I can't help myself sometimes.

Like Emile, Gwen has a bad habit of treating Azevedo and Paolo like expendable pets rather than people, although she usually accomplishes this by giving them cute nicknames and occasionally making them do bitch-work for her...unlike Emile, who tries tying them up in burlap sacks and drowning them in rivers or forgetting to feed them. :c
